Lukashenko has joined Our House’s anti-nuclear campaign
Our hints have been heard — and even accepted — even by the person from whom we least expected it.
«I support nuclear disarmament. And this should apply to everyone: Russia, the United States, China, Israel, India, Pakistan, and other countries. It should apply to everyone».
Alexander, our darkness, Grigoryevich, has wandered over to the bright side and suddenly shed a tear. He has realized the danger of nuclear weapons, which are now being handed out left and right by countries of both the First and Second Worlds. Poland is already willing, Lithuania is thinking about it, and Belarus apparently already has them on its territory. And countries of the Third World are developing their own — Iran, for example…
No one controls or limits nuclear arsenals anymore. The next START treaty — whatever number it was supposed to be — was not signed. The previous START, the one that was NEW START, has long since stopped being NEW and, in fact, has stopped being START at all. This treaty on the reduction of warheads between the United States and Russia has not been in force since 5 February of this year. And China or France, Pakistan or India never signed it in the first place. The world is living through a new arms race.
And suddenly, what do we hear? The voice of reason! And from whom? From the very person in whom we never expected to find any reason at all.
