Olga Karach participated in a UK parliamentary online discussion on nuclear risks

On 25 November 2025, Olga Karach, Director of “Our House”, took part in the online presentation of the new UK study Stepping Back from the Brink – The Myths of Tactical Nuclear Weapons and Limited Nuclear War. The event brought together key members of the UK Parliament and leading nuclear security experts, including Baroness Christine Blower, Rt Hon Lord Des Browne, Baroness Susan Miller, Lord Martin Rees, Richard Foord MP, Julian Lewis MP, and David Owen.
“Our House” is the only Belarusian organization that consistently and systematically opposes the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, raising this issue internationally — at the United Nations, within European parliamentary structures, and across professional expert networks.
The participation of such high-level parliamentary and expert figures underlines the gravity of the discussion and the significance of the risks posed by tactical nuclear weapons in the Eastern European region.
